Checkout Operator

CHECKOUT OPERATOR – 40 hours a week including a weekend day

Are you passionate about Customer Service? Are you a self-motivated person who is able to work unsupervised? Are you a people person with excellent communication skills?

If so, we currently have a vacancy for a Full time Checkout Operator to join our awesome team.

These roles will involve the following:

• Customer service – being a customer service superstar with a ‘nothing’s a problem’ attitude, friendly and responsive to customer needs
• Scanning and packing groceries efficiently
• Stocking shelves/facing up; helping the Grocery team when Checkout is quiet
• Cleaning of checkout areas

The person we are looking for will have the following attributes:

• A passion for giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile for our customers
• Be able to work well in a team, but also be able to complete tasks unassisted in the required timeframe
• Must be able to show initiative and be honest and reliable
• Must have a positive approach to their day and have a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Have great presentation skills and attention to detail
• Cash handling experience is an added bonus
• You must also be physically fit as it involves being on your feet all day.
