Although your focus will be in food and beverage service, you’ll take ownership of the full guest experience; greeting and assisting guests, making personalised recommendations to exceed their expectations. You’ll support the rest of our Lodge Host team to maintain our smooth day to day operations and work closely with the Kitchen & Housekeeping team to ensure a memorable experience that our guests will want to tell everyone about!

Your duties will include:
- Provide efficient and knowledgeable food & beverage services across the property
- Handle on-site guest requests both in person and over the phone
- Maintain high standards of guest service, with a personal touch
- Assist with check ins, check outs and activity bookings / recommendations
- Communicate and work closely with other departments
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Ensure all guest charges are accurately recorded & settled
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all departments
- Contribute ideas to enhance guest experience
Skills or Qualifications Required
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a fine-dining or high-end restaurant or hotel (ideally at least 2 years)
- Excellent communication and team work skills
- Passionate about wine, beer, cocktails, food and coffee
- Attention to detail and driven to provide an exceptional guest experience
- Confident working with a variety of IT based systems
- Ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Professional presentation
